Video Program

Hello! Bernard Bruhaha here!
Well they sure are scraping the bottom of the barrel this time.. I mean.. uh..
We got some really great films lined up in store for you at ThereCon! The real cream of the crop.. although I think it curdled a bit.. in fan produced videos. Some of these you may have seen at you local indie move theater.. lying in the garbage can.. but others could be show onthe theater screen proudly. In fact these are the types of movies I would want to make! If I had nothing better to do at all!
Most of these movies played just find on my machine. Some may require codecs to be installed. Quick time is ued in a few cases. Some of these are also in shockwave. Your milage may vary. Also please not that a few of these movies have some mature or violent content in them, although not much.. as they tend to charge money for stuff like that these days!

G-4 TV may have some odd programing, but they do make some of the most entertaining commercials on TV. Check out the series of commercials for classic Star Trek! Now if only they would bring back The Screen Savers!

Batman: Dead End One of the most amazing fan videos I have ever seen! The beginning is not that great but keep watching! Watch the high resolution version. It seems to download faster. Why don't we get movies like this on Creepier Features!

Star Wars Galaxies recently held a virtual film festival of thier own. Check out the avatar star wars action here! Anakin Dynamite, Sith Apprentace and more can both be found here!

Doctor Who The Scream of Shalka is a BBC created web based cartoon. Well worth watching.They also have a few other web epsidoes as well including a nice story with the 6th Doctor called Real Time. And the first few epsidoes of the new verison of Shada. They add a new one every so often.

Dead Critics Society review Planet of the Apes! A very strange series of shorts. Check out the others too.

Star Wars Revelations Well worth the download time! On the other hand The all lego symphony lead by Darth Vader might not be.

2001: A Space Oddity This evidently was a CGI trainging film made by students. It shows! Naw.. ist really interesting.

Really cool for what it is...whatever that might be... where is my coffe! Check out the Black Star

Red Vs Blue

Twisted minds must think alike. The Jedi Hunter Now where have I seen this plot before. Sorta gross in bits and , considering recent events, sorta tacky. Really worth the download though!

I really love dubed films. You got to admire the guts of a film maker who uses the ultimate in stock footage.. so much so that they don't even bother to edit it! Just put new dialogue onto the existing film. If you like old movie serieals (and you did not get enough by watching Broc Lee Man of Tomorrow (Now showing at NeNe's Wake)) then you will love these four episodes of Rocketman! The dialogue.. oh my! Very Funny! Do NOT eat while watching this!

They Came To Attack Us is a strange film to say the least. What a doofus!

The New Revised City Building Solution A mysterious ooze seeps into the cracks and pipes of building 1673

Star Wars Gansta Rap If you have not seen it it is well worth watching. Well maybe not. I got all a tingle when I saw the words Hardware Wars pop up on my screen while searching. However it was just a clip form this classic short.. one of the reasons I got into movies in the first place was Ernie's cool 1978 movie. Many people do not know this but the merchandizing schtick used by Mell Brooks as Yougurt in Spaceballs was originaly a sketch that Ernie would do on talk shows. Ok aside from the flamethrower bit.

Full Feedback is an interesting little VR game based movie thing. Sorta like Westworld.

Jar Jar's Walking Papers Absolutely funny cartoon! Very classy! Unless you like Jar Jar Binks.

Duality A very nice Star Wars video made on Macs ; )

StoneTrek Where no caveman has gone before! Episode 8 is a Trek/Flintstones/Phantom Mennace crossover. Heck the animation is far better than most of the flintstones cartoons!

Baen Free Library offers fully downloadable and free books form a variety of authors including Mercedes Lackey, James P. Hogan, and Lois McMaster Bujold! Amazing collection form a cool publisher!

The Sci-Fi channel evidently published quite a bit over a six year period. Though thier experiements in publishing are now over, the impressive library (including many hugo and nebula nominated and winning novellas and short stores) remains online! They also have a large assortment of older stores as well.

Cory Doctorow has four novels released online including "Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom" which is well worth a look.

The BBC offers several entire Doctor Who novels (now long out of print) for free! In fact they have even hired new illustratiosn to be created to go with these stories! Not only that but each chapter includes authors notes on the writing process! Even ore amazing they ahve them organized in web page format, printable format, and even downloads for palm and Pocket PC handhelds!
7th Doctor Nightshade This is my favorite of these books offered and plays homage to the Quatermas series.
3rd Doctor The Scales of Injustice
4th Doctor The Well Mannerd War
5th Doctor The Sands of Time (posting finishes this week on Thursday)
7th Doctor Human Nature
7th Doctor Lungbarrow last 7th doctor who book
8th Doctor Dying Days First 8th doctor book (An ice warrior story)
These novels were all originaly published by Virgin Books in the 90's and when the contract with the BBC ran out all remaining stores of the novels were destroyed. Dying Days and Lungbarrow are hard to find in the states due to somedistribution isses with Virgin Book during the final year of publication. The Virgin books also spun off another interesting series. The Adventures of Bernice Summerfield. Which was first published under Virgin and then later under the BigFinish label.
